Odd. I was surfing around today and found a photo of my new jacket (which I love).

Hey, if Britney Spears can put on a fake brit accent for a day so can I! Plus mine is better. Someone actually asked me if I was british once. And Canadian several times. Odd how they never guess southern though.

I’ve gotten so many compliments on it and it is so my style. Black & white. Buttons. And a bargain!

I can’t believe it has taken me this long to make a post about sunglasses. My collection would be vast if people didn’t sit on, step on or steal them so often. Right now I only have four pairs. White, pink, black, and turtle colored. I used to have the very best green pair… but alas like so many of my other amazing pairs they were broken beyond repair.

80’s Purple has a very good collection of sunglasses. Though you can’t try them on most sunglass connoisseurs know what shapes and colors compliment their features. Take me for example.. I’ve only found one pair of aviators ever that didn’t look completely stupid on me. And that was at the dollar general! haha

I’ll start with the most expensive pair first! Which I think I only like because they are named Burlesque and come in red as well as white.

But at $275 a pop you’ll never catch me buying them. Nope, not with my disastrous track record!

Now on to more reasonably priced glasses! From around 12-15$ (that’s what you would pay at the mall or target for a decent cheap pair):

I dub these huge black sunglasses the HANGOVER-walk-of-shame glasses! Every prepared party girl needs a pair of these. I’ll take two!

Another oversized pair. Black glasses with a lil bit of glam-rock and roll… love it!

Green..! These could almost replace my recently destroyed green sunglasses that I loved.

Girly, pink, and huge.. these are different enough in shape and color so they would make a nice addition to any collection.

Temptalia is a great beauty resource site that I found in my sleepless state tonight. Err.. this morning. It’s almost 8 am here and I’m still awake! So much for beauty sleep!

Cat Eye Liquid Liner Tips offers just that.. a photo and step by step tutorial of how to accomplish the perfect cat eye. Such a sexy and elegant look when done with the colors she has suggested.

My only other pointer would be if you are super new to liquid liner it is always easier to line the lid lightly and thinly with a pencil liner first.. that way you can trace over it and build up the height and darkness of the line.

Another tip I’ve heard is to start at the center and work your way out. Then at the inside of the eye and have the two lines meet up. Though I’ve had better success with long fluid motion across the whole eye the aforementioned technique could work better for others.

I just downloaded Flock, a social networking web browser, and it’s pretty decent.

Not a lot of plugins or customizations yet, but I am assuming it is fairly new. So all of you smart programmer types get on it!! :)

You can sign up with Me.dium and browse around the web WITH your friends.. which is pretty neat. I’m assuming you can log in and out when you wanna be sneaky. Sneaky, sneaky! Who doesn’t like to be sneaky.

It allows you to stalk your myspace and facebook friends as well. Oh, and twitter! Can’t forget about that one.

I’m digging this so far…I haven’t had any issues pulling up websites. None of my sites layouts have gone all wonky and so far (dare I say) it seems to be running faster than firefox… so I suggest that you check it out if you are web 2.0 junkie.

I should know, because I have ‘em! I have an hourglass figure that most men seem to love and I kinda like. Until I walk into a fitting room. Why? Because my boobs (are great but) too big for most tops that fit the rest of my body. My hips are too big for pants that fit my butt (or wait, do I have that backwards? I dunno..just something is freakin’ off) and the only place I am ever able to find pants that fit is Maurices.

I’m 5′4 so I have to hem almost every pair of pants I buy….EVER! Tailoring is pricey and if the person messes up your garment you are double screwed. Plus I’m a procrastinator. I have two pairs of pants that I can’t wear till I take them in to the tailor and guess what…. it’s been over a month already!

I know I’m not the only person who has this problem. I suppose there are no standard sizes because well.. have you ever seen two women (aside from twins) who have the exact same shape? Even if you trade clothes with a friend.. you know that skirt looks better on one of you than it does on the other. Nothing seems to fit two different people the same. And it’s especially hard for women who are very curvy to find flattering and stylish clothes.
