I’ve been meaning to blog about this for a while now. I have really bad credit due to being awarded a credit card with a $7000 limit. This was my first credit card when I was 18. To this day I still believe someone accidentally added on that last zero! haha
Needless to say I wasn’t as frugal as I could have been and it was a hard lesson learned. Last Dec I found this site: bad credit credit cards and applied for one of the credit cards listed there. Some of them are similar to debit cards in the sense that you have to pre pay. Some work just like regular cards. And some even report to credit bureaus to help you build your credit back up.
So if you are in need of a credit score boost, a credit card, home loan, or just want a second chance at building up your credit you should certainly stop by bad credit credit cards and do some more research!!

Good informative article. There are however, many things to do so that the money does not become so much “scarce” and you can get out of bad credit by taking care of your personal finance.
You might wana take a look at my money saving tips article. We Americans somehow tend to forget quite often that we are spending a lot of money each day over stuff or habbits that if we cut off from our lives, will save us a lot of money. You can save money on shopping by using bunch of discount coupons. Some people frown upon using discount coupons.
I have personally saved hundreds of dollars by shopping online because some times I find more attractive and discouted deals on the internet than anywhere else. By shopping online, I also saved money on gas which is oh-so-expensive now and by paying my credit card bills on time, I avoid paying interest rates thus my credit history looks fantastic, I keep cash in my account for a longer period of time that gives a good look to my bank balance sheet and I get a lot of reward points (cash back, gas, free shopping etc) becuase of my credit card usage. Imagine the debt I would have to face if I was not up-to-mark.
If I can do it, so can you, so can everyone else! It’s not rocket science. It’s personal finance that you can manage personally :)
