I have personally saved hundreds of dollars by shopping online because some times I find more attractive and discouted deals on the internet than anywhere else. By shopping online, I also saved money on gas which is oh-so-expensive now and by paying my credit card bills on time, I avoid paying interest rates thus my credit history looks fantastic, I keep cash in my account for a longer period of time that gives a good look to my bank balance sheet and I get a lot of reward points (cash back, gas, free shopping etc) becuase of my credit card usage. Imagine the debt I would have to face if I was not up-to-mark. If I can do it, so can you, so can everyone else! It's not rocket science. It's personal finance that you can manage personally :) Good informative article.
