I just found this website, Color on Pro, it’s instant eyeshadow! They even have neat patterns like leopard print, zebra and camoflague (wtf?). You can get instantly perfect smoky eyes.

They are kind of expensive but could be helpful when you are in a hurry! Or if you have trouble perfecting your favorite shadow looks. The zebra shadow could be fun for dressing up and going to your local 80s night! :) Check out the site… post reviews if you’ve tried them already.

Every winter I get sore, dry, chapped, not-fun-to-kiss lips. The latter being the biggest problem. Sheesh!

I’ve tried just about everything I can think of. I have friends who use vasoline but I think the taste is reminiscent of motor oil and really can’t stand it. I’ve tried pretty much every chap stick Avon has to offer. My mom is an Avon lady so I get that stuff thrown at me almost every other week. I’ve tried stuff from bath and body works. I’ve tried burts bee’s– which I think I am allergic to. I’ve tried Carmex, I’ve tried plain ol’ chap stick… and when I’m in a pinch and have nothing in my purse….. I’ll use regular lip gloss.

The ONLY lip balm I’ve found that halfway does it’s job is the stuff from MAC. And I stupidly left that in the pocket of my hoodie when I washed and dried it not so long ago.

What do you swear by? What eases your chapped lips?

I drink tons of water. I also drink tons of other stuff … but that makes me realize the importance of staying hydrated, ya know?

My only other pointer would be if you are super new to liquid liner it is always easier to line the lid lightly and thinly with a pencil liner first.. that way you can trace over it and build up the height and darkness of the line.

Another tip I’ve heard is to start at the center and work your way out. Then at the inside of the eye and have the two lines meet up. Though I’ve had better success with long fluid motion across the whole eye the aforementioned technique could work better for others.
