Shoebacca.com

Shoebacca (funny name for a shoe company! haha) is an online store that offers discount shoes. Their website is super easy on the eyes and navigation is a breeze. You can use the Shoe Finder to search by gender, brand, size, width. You can even search by color, type (like athletic shoes) or by new arrivals.

Shoebacca’s online store carries all sizes for men, women and kids. Some of the brands that they offer are adidas shoes, K-Swiss, DC and tons more! These adidas flats are super cute and almost half off. They were designed by Stella McCartney and are very trendy with their minimalistic and metallic look.

Like a lot of sites I’ve came across lately Shoebacca also has the 120% Guarantee. They guarantee that their site has the lowest prices on shoes… anywhere! If you find a better price elsewhere simply contact them with the information that is listed on the guarantee page and if you meet the minimum requirements you will receive and even further discount on your order! Awesome, yes?

The site is secure and accepts paypal, visa and mastercard. Once you have placed an order you can log into your account and check to see the status of your order(s).

Spring Trends - Shoes

The post below was a quick overview of the main trends to expect on and off the runway this spring. I don’t know about you, but I can’t afford designer clothes and to revamp my whole wardrobe every season. That’s why I stick with classic black, classic fits, and funk out my accessories. My favorite thing to rock out? Shoes. Let’s take a look at a few pairs that could work with this springs major trends. And maybe a pair or two that I think are just plain awesome no matter what anyone else says!

Casadei Shoes 2010C Purple Heels

These shoes would go great with any other mixed or matched neon color as seen in the runway photos. They also have sequins on them so you have no idea how hard it is for me to resist! Most of my shoes are black with embellishments, red, and I have one pair of burgundy and one pair of hot pink. I seriously need some variety in there! These would certainly add some flair.

If you liked the hippie style (no judgment!) then check out these shoes below:

Tommy Girl Shoes Aleta Tan Heels

Going androgynous? Why not femme it up with a super sexy black high heel? These are sparkley, black and from BCBG. Meow!

Into the floral patterns and crazy prints? You might need a muted shoe to go with all that. Something simple like a white strappy wedge:

Feel free to post opinions, links to shoes shops that you love, or general comments. As for me… That’s all for today, enough being productive with web stuff.. I’m going outside to play! :)

Ankle Straps & Mary Janes, Just Gimme!

163302_cat.jpg The Filigree Mary Jane has to be my favorite shoe Alloy is offering at the moment. I am obsessed with ankle straps. Especially if I wear a dress or skirt! I feel like a shoe with an ankle strap gives the overall look a bit of extra class. The black patent leather is perfect! Perhaps that will be my own little Christmas gift to myself.

163664_cat.jpg This pair is named Fem Heel. I must say I instantly fell in love with these shoes because they are pretty unique (to me, at least). They have a pretty sturdy heel (come on, you know you’ve almost fell down a time or two while wearing some insane heels after having a few drinks!) without looking too ‘chunky’ so that makes me think they would be rather easy to maneuver in. Plus…the double strap is extremely cute!

163297_blac_main.jpg I love these wedges! The pattern on the bottom would add a bit of pizazz to an all black outfit. Which is pretty much my standard uniform.. and those shoes would look great with this handbag. Wedges are by far my favorite shoes to wear out on the town. They give short girls like me (hello, 5′4) the extra height without having to compromise on comfort.

Which brings me to my next piece of advice. If you have some insanely hot but insanely uncomfortable shoes that you have been dying to wear but are afraid of how your feet will feel a few hours into the night… check out the shoe aisle at Target. They have several shoe inserts for all of the different types of womens shoes.

I don’t normally shop at Alloy but these three pairs of shoes need to be in my closet. Since Alloy is pretty affordable there is a good chance that they just might end up there.
